The first Monday Mood board. (a series I hope to continue)
If you follow me on Instagram, you'll know that I'm home for the summer.
Home in the country, down in the back woods.
These weren't my initial plans for the summer, but they are now.
Although I leave some things behind , i'm happy to be with my family, the woods, my dogs, and the peace the country brings.
I guess these images are my inspiration for the summer.
I hope to go bike ridding,
become a mermaid,
enjoy the wildlife,
buy lots of bralettes (because i'm obsessed)
go to old diners,
take long drives, with no purpose,
spend day after day at the beach, (the nice thing about Canada, is that we have beautiful beaches sans salt water! Although I love salt water once or twice a year, salt free water is such a treat!)
maybe review my favourite Maya Angelou quotes,
spend hours on Pinterest and in interior decorating magazines (since i'm redesigning my apartment),
preform a successful handstand at the beach,
pick wild flowers in the field + make my own bouquets,
lay in a hammock, read a book, take a nap
gaze at the nature around me,
hang clothes to dry,
camp out for a night - and go star gazing
pick berries on the farm,
stay connected with old friends,
live in denim cut offs,
grow a garden,
take lots of #ootd 's
invest in a pair of shades,
build a sustainable wardrobe.
So far thats all.
The past few summers have been super busy for me, so i'm excited to live a simple life.
A good life.
